Whitneys water broke early Tuesday morning. She had a C-Section due to the babies being breach and elevated blood pressure. During the operation she lost a large amount of blood, and therefore received two blood transfusions. She recovered well and was sent home last Friday with the twins. After three days at home she became ill again and was admitted back into the hospital Monday for elevated blood pressure stemming from complications with the twin pregnancy and possible pre-eclampsia. We are still in the hospital and hope to be sent home on Thursday. Thank you for all of your calls of concern. I know Whitney will get back to you as soon as she can. I know she appreciates all of the support from her family and friends. She cannot wait to get back home with her babies.
Twins delivered with no complications and have been home since last Friday. They had their first pediatricians appointment on Monday where they both received an A+. They cannot wait for their mommy to be home for good.
